The first Battlefield 1 trailer came, saw, and conquered our minds into wanting to play it when it becomes available on October 21. However, the hype is dying for some fans after a rumor revealed that there might only be six missions in its entire campaign.

Now, we’re not ones to require our first-person shooters to be long to the point of boredom, but six missions is simply not enough — especially for a triple-A game coming from Electronic Arts and DICE. Such a short campaign would likely mean the developer is focusing more on the multiplayer than anything else. After all, Battlefield games are known for their multiplayer component and not so much for its single-player.

This piece of important information came fromTwitter user txt231. We believe it could be reliable seeing as txt231 has been correct before when it comes to Battlefield 1 leaks. Still, we can’t help but hope the six missions are just some of more things to come.

Here is the list of the missions in question:

DICE has not confirmed the legitimacy of this information, so it is possible txt231 could be wrong. However, after seeing the sad state of Star Wars: Battlefront regarding content, we’re a little bit worried this game could turn out to be a sneaky cash grab.

It is also possible these six missions could each have subplots to stretch out the campaign. If such is the case, then this information wouldn’t matter any longer. Furthermore, we have to take into consideration that World War 1 was short compared to World War 2.

Battlefield 1 will be available on the Xbox One and Windows PC come October 21. The game can be pre-ordered right now from theXbox Store.
