FIFA 20 Ultimate Team, the most popular mode inFIFA 20is back for a new season.
This game mode will be coming back with even more exciting features.
In the past, you could purchase ICONs on the Transfer Market or find them in Packs.
InFIFA20 Ultimate Team they are now introducing ICON Swaps.
What exactly are ICON Swaps?
ICON Swaps is meant to be anew way to allow players to unlock select ICONs in exchange for Player Tokens.
As you all probably remember, you can earn Player Tokens by completing the objectives you exchange.
Officialpatch notesfrom EA revealed more about ICON Swaps:
In short, there will be 4 unique versions for each of the 89 ICONs in FUT 20 that will each be available during certain periods throughout the year.
These versions are called:
They are inspired by the evolution of a real-life football player throughout his career.
For example,Basereflects a time in the player’s career when they were still new and had not yet reached their full capabilities.
On the other hand,Momentsfocuses on the highlights in an ICON’s career that elevated them to one of the all-time greats.
When will ICON Swaps become available?
Those eagerly waiting forFIFA 20to launch will have to wait until the11th of Octoberfor the ICON Swaps features to be available.
As for how long will these versions last, each of them has a different timetable:

Apparently, the exact purpose of introducing ICON Swaps is to encourage versatility in squad building throughout FUT 20, as well as improve their accessibility and availability.
