Amazon Fire TV is a great device, but manyusersreported that Amazon Fire TV does not go intosleep mode.

What to do if Amazon Fire TV won’t go into sleep mode?
1. Turn off Netflix app
Several users reported that this issue is possibly caused by theNetflixapp.
To avoid it, be sure to closeNetflixapp if you want your Amazon Fire TV to go tosleep.
Alternatively, update theNetflixapp to the latest version and check if that helps.

2. Check your Ethernet cable and power supply
In some cases, Amazon Fire TV might not go to sleep mode due to your Ethernet cable.
Fewusersreported that they had issues with CAT5 Ethernet cable, but after switching to the CAT6 Ethernet cable, the issue was resolved.
