According to multiple online reports, it seems that there are various issues with Yahoo Messenger inWindows 10, especially with the video calling features. Here are a few potential fixes.

Many Windows users have been complaining that there still isn’t anofficial app for Yahoo! Messenger on the Windows Store, but the default program has proved to be ok so far. And there have been variousother submissionsto the Windows Store, although they weren’t official.

Solution 1 – Update your drivers

Of course, it goes without saying that the very first thing you need to do is to check whether you have the latest graphics drivers installed and, of course, if you’re running the latest version ofYahoo Messenger.

Solution 2 – Reinstall Yahoo Messenger

Also, you can try and reinstall the software, as well. This is one of the quickest ways to fix YM problems.

If all this is good, then you need to try and start the program in Administrator mode. Right click on the .exe file, then select Properties > Compatibility > Change settings for all users, then add a checkbox to run this program as administrator and then click Apply.

Other users affected by this problem have been reporting that they managed to solve it by installing an older version ofYahoo messenger. You can also try refreshing yourWindows 10, but make sure that you back up everything up before you proceed.
