If you don’t want to install theWindows 10 Anniversary Updateright now, you can delay it for a few months. This option is available only for Windows 10 Pro,Windows 10 EducationandWindows 10 Enterpriseusers. Unfortunately, the consumer version of Windows 10 doesn’t allow users to defer updates, therefore these users are left with no choice but to accept it.

This action takes your computer to the Business branch. In this manner, major updates are delivered only after the consumer branch validates them. Validation takes place after at least four months of usage, which is enough time for possible bugs to be detected.
Once you check the Defer Updates box, your computer should receive updates only after November 2016.
Some Windows 10 editions let you defer upgrades to your PC. When you defer upgrades, new Windows features won’t be downloaded or installed for several months. Deferring upgrades doesn’t affect security updates. Note that deferring upgrades will prevent you from getting the latest Windows features as soon as they’re available.
