2. Reinstall League of Legends manually

If you encountered errors with your League Client and the game does not work properly, you can perform a manual game reinstallation.

In doing so, you need to uninstall the game from Control Panel, then download and install the newest version from the official League of Legends website.

Open theStart menuon your computer by pressing the Windows key.
SelectControl Panelfrom the list of results.
Click onPrograms and Features.
Scroll down until you find League of Legends in the list. Click on it.
SelectUninstall/Remove.
The uninstall process will begin. Follow the instruction until the process is finished.
Navigate to the directory where League of Legends was installed (the C: drive by default).
Delete the old setup files you used to install the game and any unnecessary registry files.
Restart the PC.

After you finished the entire uninstallation process, the next step is downloading and installing the game’s client.

RunLeagueofLegends.exeto download the setup files. These will be placed in a newLeague of Legendsfolder on your desktop by default.

When the installation process finishes, the game’s launcher will open automatically.
