A lot of us use iPhone but preferWindows10 when it comes to PC. However, this preference can become an issue if you use the Apple Notes app on your iOS device extensively.

Users have been wondering whether they can get the Apple Notes app onWindows10.

There is no official version of the Apple Notes app forWindows10 yet, and, we don’t seeAppleporting its iOS or macOS apps toWindows10 in the near future, but there is a workaround that we’ll explore in this guide.

You can use Apple Notes on your PC by creating a browser application for it. The Notes app will function as a PWA (progressive web app). You can do this using your Chrome or Microsoft Edge Chromium browser.

  1. Launch your preferred browser. In our guide, we will use Chrome.

  2. Go toiCloudand login to your account.

  3. Open theNotesapp.

4.Click theMorebutton (three dots) top right corner of your browser.

  1. SelectMore Tools > Create a Shortcut.

  2. In a new tab, typechrome://apps/and hitEnter.

  3. Right-click on the newly createdNotesshortcut.

8.SelectOpen as Window.

9.Right-click on the Notes shortcut again, and selectCreate Shortcuts.

  1. Give your shortcut a name, then click onCreate. This will add the Notes app shortcut to your Start menu and Taskbar.

Once done, you can open the Notes app from the Start menu or taskbar like normal apps. Even though the app will still open Google Chrome, it will open in a separate window.

Note: For this article, we are using Google Chrome. But you can use otherChromium-basedbrowsers like Edge to achieve the same results.

The fact thatApplehas not given third-party developers access to its Notes app means it will remain unavailable forWindows10 to be downloaded as a standalone app for now.
