Just Dance 2024has just been announced with a release date and loads of new songs to go with it.
Just Dance 2024is one of the newest announcements at Ubisoft’s Showcase this E3 2023. It carries on the tradition of the series by including all the hottest songs that this year has to offer. Fans will be able to enjoy songs by BlackPink, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, with more songs being scheduled to release at launch.
Available to play on thePS5,Xbox Series X/S, andNintendo Switch, players will have up to 40 new songs to peruse once it’s released on October 24.
We also got yet another confirmation thatJust Dance will join other games at the official Esports Olympics. “The OlympicEsportsSeries 2023 marks another step in supporting the development of virtual sports”, the IOC said in ablog post. “The collaboration with gaming and esports communities will create new opportunities for players and fans alike”.
Together withTic Tac BowandGran Turismo 7, the strategy esports archery game, fans can expect to see various other odd additions at the next Olympics, so keep your eyes peeled.
This latest addition tothe Olympic rosteris a fun one to say the least, however, that may not be enough to carry it through the competition stages. Personally, I’m finding it pretty hard to understand how Just Dance qualifies as an esports. While Just Dance is a video game most of the action happens physically through dance.
Unfortunately, for fans ofCall of DutyorOverwatch 2, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll see these competitive FPS games join the Olympic roster. This is mainly because both games have such impressive stand alone esports.
