After an XboxTwitter accidentspoiled the surprise for eager fans, Capcom has also come out and confirmedMonster Hunter Riseisfinally coming to more platformsother than just the Nintendo Switch and Steam.
Even the game’s trailer confirms the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, as well as Xbox and PC Game Pass subscription services, will be available on January 20.
So, if you are a fan of the Monster Hunter titles, this is a great opportunity to continue the adventure and slay even more challenging foes.
Monster Hunter Rise is hitting all platforms in January 2023
Note that all updates released for the Switch and PC versions sinceRise’slaunch will be available on the new platforms as well.
This, whitout question, will offer plenty of monster battling and capturing action in Kamura Village, so make sure you are prepared.
Unfortunately for fans hoping for a complete experience,Monster Hunter Rise’sSunbreak expansion won’t be there on the new platforms at launch, as Capcom is aiming for a spring 2023 launch for it.
However, with the new launch, there are some additional features being attached to all platforms other than the Switch.
We’re talking 4K at 60FPS or 1080p at 120 FPS modes on the Xbox Series X and PS5, as well as 3D audio, visual filters, voice chat, and Adaptive Triggers on PS5.
This co-op title will also feature cross-play on Xbox platforms, with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox app on Windows (PC Game Pass) players being able to hunt together.
Price-wise,Monster Hunter Rise, which is hitting the new Xbox and PlayStation platforms on January 20, 2023, will start at $39.99 for the standard edition andpre-orders are now available.
