If you are currently on Windows Vista (and I am sorry for you), and you heard of Windows 10 and you find it an interesting proposal, you’ll probably may want to switch to it. So, rest assured, this will be possible.Windows 10 won’t require different hardware specifications from Windows 8.1, Windows 8, so this means you will be able to run it without any issues on your current computer, tablet, laptop or hybrid. And this is the same for previous operating systems, as well.
If you recall, Windows 8 ran on the same hardware as Windows 7, which ran on the same hardware as Windows Vista. So, this means that Windows 10 will run without any problems on any machine that has been built in the past 5 years, which I guess includes your Windows Vista laptop or desktop machine.
Windows 10 system requirements are as follows:
Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, and Windows Vista Ultimate require 1 GB of RAM for both 32- and 64-bit configurations, and 15 GB of free space.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
