At E3 2019, Sega surprised the world by announcing it was bringing Phantasy Star Online 2 to the west. Phantasy Star Online 2 is an MMO that first released back in 2012 in Asia. Phantasy Star Online 2 is now available on Xbox One and is coming to PC on the Windows Store sometime in May. When it arrives on PC, it’ll support full cross-play between the Xbox One and PC versions.

Right now, it appears the PC version will be exclusive to the Windows Store. Phantasy Star Online 2 is a free-to-play MMO, though there are also in-game purchases and different bundles available. We’ll provide an update when an exact release date for the PC version is announced.
