There are lots ofprogramsout there that promise to eliminatewatermarksfrompictures, and when you put them to the test, they fall short of what you’d expect for awatermarkremover. Until recently, I thought that I will never going to find a simplewatermarkremoverfor Windows 10, Windows 8 that would work as good as Photoshop does, but after searching for a while, I foundPhoto Stamp Remover.
This lightweight and easy to useprogramdoes (to some extent) remove thewatermarksfromimages. However, I strongly recommend that you do not use thisprogramto remove thewatermarksfrom other people’s photos, as this is not moral. You can, however, use it to remove time-stamps from photos, or even some elements from the photo if needed.
How does Photo Stamp Remover work?
Theprocessthat thiswatermarkremover software for Windows 10, Windows 8 uses is fairly simple, as it uses the images and patterns from around the selected area to fill the space where thewatermarkis. As you can imagine, this technique works on some photos better than on others. While in testing, with some photos, I got a great result, and others, well…not so much. Even so, with the photos where it worked, the result was spectacular.
I have used this tinyprogramto remove bothwatermarksand different elements from somepictures. If you were wondering what types ofwatermarksit didn’t erase, these were those that were overlaying the photo. In this test, it only managed to scramble the entire photo. But for most of what users, need, Photo Stamp Remover for Windows 10, Windows 8 will get the job done with no problem.
Using Photo Stamp Remover is very simple. Thanks to its very user friendly interface, adding photos and editing them is a breeze. All thetoolsare in the upper menu, starting from Add Photos and all the way to the magic “Remove” button.
Selecting the area where thewatermarkis placed is done by pressing one the three buttons on the top menu. For simplewatermarks, you can use the simple selection tools and draw a square over the area with thewatermark. The other option is to use the Selection Marker, which lets you paint over the area you want to edit. Last but not least, you have the option to select a single color and remove it with the Select Color option.
Once you’ve selected yourwatermark, you can find the Remove button in the same menu, right next to the Color Select. Also here, users can find another removal method, Quick Remove, but from I saw, it offers lower quality results.
As you can see from thepictures, theprocesswas a smashing success and all traces of thewatermarkwere gone. Although I am against removingwatermarksfrompicturesthat belong to other, this Windows 10, Windows 8watermarkremovalprogramcan be used to edit photos and get rid of unwanted elements.
