Windows 11has just been unveiled and it’s generated quite a hype already, thanks to itscatchy features. Those lucky enough to be enrolled in Microsoft’s Windows Insider Program will also be able to download a copy of it, before the official roll-out.

The announcement was made on the official Windows Experience blog and it states that previews will arrive starting with next week. Even though it’s a couple of days away, windows Insiders are still going to get a taste of Windows 11 ahead of the free upgrade schedule.

Update:Microsoft temporarily removed the PC Health Check app and plans to get it back online before Windows 11 becomes generally available. Because of multiple complaints from users and some problems related to Windows 11 minimum requirements, the Redmond giant decided to rebuild and adjust the app for improved reliability and guaranteed compatibility. How can you download Windows 11?

The first step would be to enroll in the Windows Insider Program, a simple procedure which can be done by accessing theofficial pageand clicking on Register. Be sure to read on how the program works and what are the downsides of running a pre-release version.

Afterwards,check if your PC is compatible with Windows 11and patiently wait for the update roll-out. You can also use Microsoft’s PC Health Check app (scroll to the bottom of theirpage) to see if your machine meets the requirements to run Windows 11.

The mass-rollout of Windows 11 to eligible Windows 10 PCs will begin this holiday season and continue into 2022. Another way to upgrade fast is to purchase a device that comes with Windows 11 pre-installed. These will hit the market soon, as Microsoft has signed hardware partnerships with various companies, including Dell, HP and Razer.
