Key notes

Well, after so much talk and the seemingly endless emotional rollercoaster of the last three months, it is finally happening. Windows 11 has been declared a finished product and is coming to our devices.

But don’t go thinking that everything we saw throughout these past months will be there from the start. Some features will be released in the near future, as they weren’t quite ready to make the initial cut.

And we know thatyou are all expecting it, so this can only be good news.

Its finally time to welcome Windows 11

Its finally time to welcome Windows 11

Since we first learned about the new operating system, back in June, we all started speculating on what it might look, sound, and feel like.

We’ve seen it grow from the messy and buggy first versions, and we helped mold it into what it’s about to become.

Therefore, now, eligible Windows 10 devices will get a free upgrade to the next-generation OS, but you’ll need to make sure your laptop or desktop meets thenecessary requirementsto run it.

Remember that you can check if your gadget is eligible for the free Windows 11 upgrade by downloading and using thePC Health Check app.

Another important factor to take into consideration is that Microsoft is making this rollout a phased and measured process.

This actually means that some Windows 10 users aren’t likely to get the upgrade until later this year or even 2022.

Redmond officials specified that the reason behind this is that, basically, Microsoft will prioritize the Windows 11 rollout based on hardware eligibility, reliability metrics, age of device, and other factors.

So, starting tomorrow, compatible laptops, PCs, and tablets will start upgrading to Windows 11 for free. You better get ready for this new chapter of your life, because you might just be among the first ones to actually get it.

If your device is outdated and doesn’t meet the criteria for running the upcoming operating system, there are plenty of options for you out there, including Microsoft’s latestSurface products release.

Not to mention that there are also tons of other alternatives, provided by big companies like Lenovo, Dell, or Asus, who already announcedWindows 11-ready devices.

Another reason to be excited for tomorrow is the fact thatOffice 2021 is also coming, according to what the Redmond tech giant had to say a few weeks ago.

All in all, we have a lot of reasons to be happy about this new launch, so all we can do now is just wait for this free upgrade to become available to us and simply jump on the opportunity.

If you have a compatible device but don’t get it right the second it launches, don’t be alarmed, as your turn will surely not be forgotten and Windows 11 will also come to your machine.

Make sure to also check ourWindows 11 dedicated section, in order to catch up and be up to date with everything that happened with the operating system, ever since its early stages.
