The long wait for Flipboard users has finally come to an end as the official Flipboard app has been launched in the Windows Store for Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1 users. Read below to find more about it.The official Flipboard app has finally arrived in the Windows Store, Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1 users are invited to download it, of course, as well, as Windows 8 and Windows RT users, if you haven’t made the update yet.Flipboard for Windows 8.1comes with a completely optimized touch interface, offering the options to save stories, share links, topics, blogs, or sites and create your own magazines.

You can use the Windows 8.1 Flipboard app to connect up to 12 social networks, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Google+. There are 12 localized editions of the Windows 8.1 Flipboard app that include Australia, Canada, UK, US, Japan, Italy, and Germany. As expected, live tile support is also offered to Windows 8.1 users, so by pinning your favorite topics on the Start screen, you won’t even need to launch the Windows 8 Flipboard app.
